SAME DAY. AFTERNOON.
At the Oakdale Police Department, Barbara and Emily storm into Margo’s office without knocking, jolting her out of her work, as she stands from her desk.
MARGO: Barbara, Emily, what the hell?
BARBARA: Margo, we need to talk.
MARGO: About what?
EMILY: Paul is missing.
---
At Worldwide, Lily is sitting behind her desk, talking on the phone. There is a nameplate on the desk that reads: LILY WALSH SNYDER, CEO.
LILY: Listen, Mr. Shin, just consider the offer. I think you will find it more than generous. This company is willing to work with you.
There is a knock at the door.
LILY: Hold on.
Lily rest the phone on her chest.
LILY: Come in.
Lucinda enters, and Lily smiles.
LILY: Give me one second mom.
As Lily goes back to her phone call, there is a tone. It is apparent that Mr. Shin has hung up the phone, from the call.
LILY: Mr. Shin? Hello? Are You still there? Dammit!
Lily slams the phone down. She then stands, and comes out from behind the desk.
LUCINDA: I see Mr. Shin’s son is hard to play ball with. His father always was.
LILY: (hugging Lucinda) Hi, mom.
LUCINDA: (coming off the hug) Hi, honey.
LILY: (sighs) So, what can I do for you?
LUCINDA: We need to talk.
LILY: What about?
LUCINDA: Me coming back to the company.

At the Oakdale Inn, a woman walks up to Craig’s hotel room door. She knocks, but there is no answer. She knocks again, still no answer.
The woman sees the maid’s cleaning cart out of the corner of her eye. She walks over, and grabs the all access key.
As she walks back to Craig’s door, she is about to put the key in, when she is stopped.
ROSANNA: Miss, can I help you?
The woman looks to Rosanna.
WOMAN: Yes, you can.
ROSANNA: Well, first I’m gonna need you to tell me your name.
WOMAN: My name?
ROSANNA: Yes.
WOMAN: (extending her hand) My name is Sierra. Sierra Esteban.
At CT Designs, the elevator doors ding open. Henry is hanging a fabric on a mannequin, as Katie walks up to him with two lattes.
KATIE: Hello.
HENRY: Hey, Katie! What a surprise.
Katie and Henry hug. Coming off the hug, Katie hands Henry a latte.
KATIE: Thought I could bring you some fuel.
HENRY: Well thanks. Coffee maker is broken here, so I have been looking forward to coffee all day long. I also forgot to get some this morning.
KATIE: Oh, well I am glad I could help.
HENRY: So, what brings you by?
KATIE: Well, I had a date.
HENRY: You went on it, right?
KATIE: I did.
HENRY: And?
KATIE: And, it was a total bust.

At the Snyder Farm, in Carly’s Bedroom, Craig is putting his belt on.
CARLY: Answer my question, Craig.
CRAIG: So, you wanna know if we slept together? You wanna know if you made the ultimate betrayal against your sister?
CARLY: I was drunk. Obviously you took advantage of me, if we did have sex.
CRAIG: Carly, if we did have sex, don’t you dare try and accuse me of rape. I have done a lot of things, but I would never sexually violate a woman.
CARLY: Alright, enough!
Carly throws Craig's suit jacket at him.
CARLY: I want you dressed, and my question answered.
CRAIG: (putting on his jacket) One thing crossed off of your list. I’m fully dressed. Just one more thing you need to cross off. And, I’ll cross it off for you right now.
---
Back at Worldwide, in Lily’s Office, Lily shuts the door, as Lucinda sets her clutch down on Lily’s desk. Lucinda looks back to face Lily.
LILY: Mom, I am not really understanding.
LUCINDA: What’s not to understand?
LILY: Mom, for six years now, you have been out of this company. You wanted me to take over, so you could spend the rest of your life with John. I mean, you two are planning a wedding. You have been retired for a long time now.
LUCINDA: I always hated that word.
LILY: I know you don’t mean the word wedding. You’ve been through seven of them.
LUCINDA: Well, look who’s counting.
LILY: Anyways, tell me. Why do you hate the word retirement?
LUCINDA: Because, people like Lucinda Walsh…, people like me, don’t retire. We simply go on vacation, is all.
LILY: A six year vacation?
LUCINDA: Listen, truthfully I’ve been missing the game.
LILY: The game?
LUCINDA: You know, the game. The power plays, signing a big deal. I miss being me.
LILY: I know what is going on here.
LUCINDA: Pardon?
LILY: You are bored.
LUCINDA: I’m not bored.
LILY: Yes, you are. Now that you have this perfect life with John, you are going dull. And, you think coming back to the company will be just the thing you need.
LUCINDA: Lily, I’m not asking to be Co-CEO, I am just asking to be something in the company I created. Let me have this.
LILY: Fine. You can come back.
LUCINDA: Oh, thank you! Thank you! Thank you! When can I start?
LILY: After your honeymoon.
LUCINDA: But…
LILY: After.
LUCINDA: (sighs) Okay, fine.
LILY: Good. I love you.
LUCINDA: I love you too, darling.
---
Back at CT Designs, Katie leans up against a desk, as Henry sits in an office chair.
HENRY: So, this guy you went out with is a surgeon at the hospital. Katie, I am not seeing the problem in that.
KATIE: Henry, he is a Star Trek fanatic. He would not shut up about it.
HENRY: There it is! The problem!
KATIE: Yeah. He knew everything. He even said to me that it gets him hot when women dress up in the star trek uniforms.
HENRY: I’m sorry he was a freak, Katie.
KATIE: Well, first one is never easy.
HENRY: Are you gonna keep up with the site, though?
KATIE: Yeah. I think I will. I gotta get back out there.
HENRY: Good for you.
KATIE: Anyways, I heard that you and Barbara are moving back into her old mansion. Are the renovations almost done?
HENRY: Yeah. They are actually. We move in, next week.
KATIE: Henry, that’s fantastic.
HENRY: I have a pic of the living room, if you wanna see.
KATIE: Sure.
Henry gets up, and gets his phone from his pocket. He unlocks it, and goes to his photo album. He shows Katie the livingroom.
KATIE: Oh my gosh. That is exquisite.
---
Back at the Oakdale Inn, Sierra puts the maid’s key in her purse.
ROSANNA: Sierra, I didn’t recognize you.
SIERRA: Well, that is because of my surgery.
ROSANNA: Your surgery?
SIERRA: Lucy and I were involved in a car crash a couple years back. She was okay, but there was a lot of scarring to my face.
ROSANNA: I’m sorry.
SIERRA: It’s fine. This French doctor did great work.
ROSANNA: I see that.
SIERRA: Anyways, do you know where Craig is?
ROSANNA: I don’t. I actually came by to talk.
SIERRA: Oh. Well, same here. What a bust that was, for the both of us.
As Sierra and Rosanna continue to talk, Craig walks up to them.
CRAIG: Can I help you two?
ROSANNA: Speak…
SIERRA: Of the devil.
---
Back at the Snyder Farm, Carly is walking down the stairs. She is on her cell phone. She walks into the living room, and pours herself a cup of tea.
WOMAN: (over the phone) The person you are trying to reach at the moment, is unavailable. Please leave a message after the beep.
(Beep)
CARLY: Dusty, it’s Carly. Listen, there is going to be a little hiccup in our plan. I need to see you right away. Meet me at the Mona Lisa. Thirty minutes.
Carly hangs up, and let’s out a sigh.
---
Back at the Oakdale Police Department, in Margo’s Office, Margo comes out from behind her desk. She goes to a frantic Emily and Barbara.
MARGO: You say Paul is missing?
BARBARA: Yes.
MARGO: What makes you think that?
EMILY: He wasn’t home last night.
BARBARA: He hasn’t shown up for work.
MARGO: Has it been 48 hours?
BARBARA: No.
MARGO: Then, you know I can’t help you.
EMILY: Margo, Paul is missing. You know that is never good.
MARGO: I have known Paul…
BARBARA: He is my son. He is a father. He is a friend. He is a husband. Margo, we need you to do this as a friend.
EMILY: Please.
MARGO: (sighs) Dammit. Fine. Tell me everything.
